On August 1st, the presentation event of the “Culture Day” learning and practice program of the National Primary and Secondary School Students’ Research and Practice Education Base of Confucius Academy was held. When the participating children presented their works, their parents present felt so gratified.

Since 2019, the Base has organized more than 300 public education activities and courses about traditional culture, involving more than 18,000 primary and secondary school students. Among them, over 10,000 primary and secondary school students from nearly 80 schools in Guizhou, over 300 primary and secondary school students from Guangzhou, Jiangsu, Xiamen, Sichuan, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan, and 40 international students participated in learning and practice activities at Confucius Academy. The various activities and profound culture have strengthened education and practice of excellent traditional culture for primary and secondary school students and effectively facilitated the innovative development of excellent traditional Chinese culture.

The Base takes three measures to further improve the quality of the Confucian Academy’s learning and practice activities and enrich the content of the “Culture Day” learning and practice program, namely bringing traditional culture to campuses, delivering courses on traditional culture, and organizing study trips. Tens of thousands of teachers and students have enjoyed the cultural feasts and been exposed to excellent traditional culture.

The “Culture Day” program includes “on-campus traditional culture programs”, “courses on traditional culture organized by the Base”, and “group study trips”.

As the National Primary and Secondary School Students’ Research and Practice Education Base nominated by the Ministry of Education, Confucius Academy has continuously been creating various forms of learning and practice activities with rich content to give full play to its role and make it a good place for education off the campus.
